Valerie Salas

Valerie Salas has extensive work experience in recruitment and talent acquisition. Valerie is currently the Director of Recruitment and Selection at Catapult Learning, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, Valerie worked at KIPP Texas Public Schools, where they held various roles including Senior Director of Talent Recruitment, Director of Recruitment, Senior Recruitment Manager, and Recruitment Manager from 2018 to 2023. Valerie also worked at KIPP DC as a Recruitment Manager from 2017 to 2018 and at KIPP Houston Public Schools as an English Language Learner Coordinator, Special Education Coordinator, and Spanish Teaching Fellow from 2012 to 2017.

Valerie Salas holds a Master's degree in Education, which they obtained from The University of Texas at Austin in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Binghamton University, graduating between 2005 and 2009. In addition to their academic qualifications, Valerie Salas also holds a certification as a Certified Diversity Recruiter, obtained from AIRS powered by ADP in June 2021.
