Jacques Groenewald

Jacques Groenewald has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jacques is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Catapult since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked at PaperCut Software as a Senior Product Manager from June 2018 to July 2020 and as a Product Owner from May 2017 to November 2018. Jacques also had a part-time role as Lead Instructor - Product Management at Academy Xi from July 2018 to October 2018.

Jacques has experience in product marketing as well, having worked as a Product Marketing Manager at NHP Electrical Engineering Products Pty Ltd from June 2016 to May 2017. Jacques also worked at ABB for several years, holding roles such as Global Product Manager & Principal Engineer from June 2012 to May 2016, Product Development Manager from November 2011 to May 2012, and Product Development Engineer from October 2010 to November 2011.

Earlier in their career, Jacques worked as a Business Development Manager at CSense Systems from September 2008 to October 2010 and as a Product Line Sales Manager at ASIC Design Services from January 2007 to August 2008. Overall, their experience includes engineering, product management, product marketing, and business development roles.

Jacques Groenewald has a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. Jacques also holds a Diploma of Marketing from Swinburne University of Technology. In addition, they have obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2016.
