Guy Guarino has over 20 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Guy began their career as an Administrative Director at Frye Regional Medical Center in 1996 and then moved on to Petra International, where they served as a Senior Associate from 2001 to 2002. In 2003, Guarino joined Catawba Valley Medical Center as the Chief Development Officer. Guy is dedicated to improving the health status of the Catawba Valley by providing high-quality healthcare services and supporting organizations focused on improving the standard of living.
Guy Guarino earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they attended from 1983 to 1987. Guy later pursued further education at Pfeiffer University, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Masters of Health Administration (MHA) from 1995 to 1997. Additionally, they obtained a CFRE Certification from CFRE International in June 2015. Furthermore, Guy Guarino is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
