Kim Ratliff, RHIA, HACP has over two decades of experience in the field of Health Information Management. Kim began their career at Johnston Memorial Hospital in 2001 as the Director of Health Information Management, where they served for eight years. In 2009, they moved on to become the Director of Health Information Management at Southwestern Virginia Mental Health Institute, where they stayed for three years. Since 2012, they have been serving as the Director of Health Information Services & Privacy Officer at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
Kim Ratliff, RHIA, HACP holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health Information/Medical Records Administration/Administrator from Western Carolina University. Kim has also obtained the certification of Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) from AHIMA. In addition, they have achieved the Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (HACP) certification in 2016.
