Bernard D'Heygere

Bernard D'heygere has diverse work experience in the field of communications and public affairs. Bernard started their career as a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission in 2012 and later worked as a Stagiaire at the Federal Public Service Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation in 2013. D'heygere also gained consultancy experience at ARCTURUS GROUP before joining Edelman as a Senior Account Executive in 2014. Bernard then moved on to Airbnb, where they held roles such as Public Affairs Manager - EMEA and Head of Public Affairs - Northern Europe. Currently, D'heygere holds the position of Director of Communications at Catawiki.

Bernard D'heygere holds a Master's degree in European Political & Administrative Studies from the College of Europe, completed in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Sciences Po in 2011. In 2010, they earned another Master's degree in Comparative and International Politics from KU Leuven. Bernard also has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from KU Leuven, which they completed in 2009. Bernard'ssecondary education was undertaken at the Abdijschool van Zevenkerken, where they acquired a degree in Classical Studies (Latin-Greek) from 2000 to 2006.
