Daan Dimmendaal has a diverse work experience in various sales and account management roles. Daan started their career at Youngworks, where they worked as a Sales and Marketing Internship, responsible for managing the content of the company's blog, newsletter, and corporate website. Daan then joined TomTom as a CRM Manager, where they translated business requirements into campaigns and analyzed performance trends. After that, they worked at Philips as a Business Relations Manager, managing the relationship between Philips and brand licensing partners, as well as overseeing stakeholder management and project management. Daan then joined GROWx, the first commercial vertical farm in the Netherlands, where they worked in sales to make urban agriculture the primary source of a city's fresh food supply. Currently, Daan is working at Catawiki, first as an Account Manager for Collectables, responsible for managing relationships with sellers and identifying commercial opportunities, and then as a Key Account Manager, optimizing performance and managing commercial deals with clients that significantly impact the company's revenue.

Daan Dimmendaal completed a Bachelor's degree in Media Advertising and Communication from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2008 to 2012. In 2010 and 2011, they pursued a Minor in Entrepreneurship.
