James Lesner

James Lesner has a diverse work experience in talent management and recruitment. James started their career as a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Intelligent People, specializing in online marketing, product management, and eCommerce roles. James then worked as a Digital and Technology Recruiter at Handle Recruitment, where they were responsible for the recruitment process across various positions in the tech and digital fields. After that, they served as a Marketing and Tech Recruiter at TravelBird, an Amsterdam-based scale-up in the travel industry. James then joined Catawiki, first as a Senior Tech Recruiter, hiring for engineering, product, data science, and UX teams, and later as the Head of Talent Acquisition and Director of Talent Acquisition, leading recruitment strategies and employee development efforts. James is currently the Director of Talent Management at Catawiki, overseeing talent acquisition and learning & development teams while promoting a culture of continuous growth.

James Lesner received their Bachelor's Degree in Graphic and Communication Design from the University of Leeds from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Queen Elizabeth Boys School from 1999 to 2006, where they completed their A Levels in English Literature, Business Studies, Art, and Sociology.
