Joel Manalastas

Joel Manalastas has a diverse range of work experience in the sales industry. Joel started their career with South Coast Windansea as a Manager from 1997 to 2000. Joel then moved on to Earth & Ocean Sports, Inc. as an Outside Sales Representative from 1999 to 2002. After that, they joined Wham-O as an Outside Sales Representative, where they were responsible for selling marquee water sports brands to various retailers, surf schools/camps, and government agencies in Southern California. During their time at Wham-O, they achieved the title of top surf shop salesman for four consecutive years. From 2004 to 2005, Joel worked as an Outside Sales Representative at Hawaiian Island Creations. Following this, they joined Nine Star as a Surf Hardgoods Buyer from 2006 to 2008. Currently, Joel serves as the VP of Sales at Catch Surf®, a position they have held since 2008.

Joel Manalastas completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology at San Diego State University. Additionally, they obtained a certification from Shred University, offered by Let's Go Surfing Episode 1 on Vimeo, but the specific month and year of obtaining this certification is not provided.
