Marike van Harskamp

Marike van Harskamp serves as the Head of Policy & Public Affairs at Catch22 since November 2024, previously holding the position of Head of Policy & Research at Redthread from February 2023 to November 2024. With extensive experience in policy and communications, Marike led various roles at New Horizon Youth Centre from April 2013 to January 2023, encompassing Head of Policy, Learning and Communications, Policy and Partnerships Manager, and Development and Partnerships Manager. Prior roles include Project Manager at Quaker Social Action, Recovery Worker / Peer Mentor Coordinator at CRI - Crime Reduction Initiatives, and support roles focused on stimulant and crack users at Blenheim CDP and Riverside. Marike's academic credentials include a PhD in Sociology from Brunel University London and a PgCert in Management and Leadership from London South Bank University, complemented by teaching positions at notable universities.
