Gaël Hernández

Gaël Hernández is a seasoned professional in telecommunications and digital economy policy, currently serving as the Director of ISP/Peering Strategy at Catchpoint since June 2022. Simultaneously, Gaël holds positions as a member of the PeeringDB Admin Committee and the Program Committee for the African Peering and Interconnection Forum. Prior experience includes a director role at Packet Clearing House, where responsibilities encompassed global strategy development for network interconnection and managing relationships with Internet exchange points and data centre operators. Gaël has also contributed as a Policy Analyst at OECD, focusing on communications infrastructure, and held various roles in capacity development, technical advisory, and software engineering. Academic qualifications include a BSc in Telecommunication and two master's degrees in Development Cooperation and Telecommunication.
