Gianluca Romano

Gianluca Romano has a strong background in the real estate industry. Gianluca is currently working as the Head of Capital Raising and Client Relations at Catella since April 2023. Prior to that, they held various senior positions at companies such as Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance Limited, StepStone Real Estate, Courtland Partners Europe Ltd., Courtland Partners, Ltd., and VISION Consulting. Gianluca also worked as an Advisor at Boston Venture Partners LLC, providing services related to fund operations and strategic alliances. In addition, Gianluca has experience at ABN AMRO/RBS, where they served as a Director in charge of structured real estate capital, and Morgan Stanley Properties Corso Venezia Srl, where they worked as a Director overseeing investments in securitized NPL portfolios. Their career began at KPMG, where they worked as a Senior Manager in litigation and dispute resolution.

Gianluca Romano began their education at Portsmouth Abbey School, where they obtained a Diploma in Secondary School from 1980 to 1983. Following this, they attended Duke University from 1983 to 1987, earning an A.B. degree in Mathematics and Economics. Later on, they pursued further education and obtained an M.A. in Economics from Miami University in 1989. In the following year, they attended the University of Amsterdam, where they completed their second M.A. degree in European Economic Integration.
