Matt Francis

Chair of the UC Berkeley Department of Chemistry, Professor Francis has spent the past two decades as the world's leading expert in protein modification chemistry.

He has been involved in numerous startups coming from his lab and has been a faculty member at UC Berkeley since 2001.
