Saurabh Johri

Saurabh Johri has an extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Saurabh is currently the Chief Business Officer at Catena Biosciences, a position they assumed in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Bayer as the Vice President & Global Head of Oncology Strategy and Early Commercialization from February 2021 to January 2023. Saurabh also held the role of Vice President, Targeted Medicine, Bayer Oncology from January 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining Bayer, Saurabh served as the U.S. Head of Lynparza at AstraZeneca from June 2017 to January 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Teva Pharmaceuticals as the Global Commercial Head - Biosimilars, responsible for global commercial strategy and business development deals, from July 2015 to June 2017.

Saurabh also has experience at Teva Oncology as the Director of Oncology Brand Marketing from July 2012 to June 2015, where they led brand strategy and cross-functional collaboration. Saurabh started their career at Merck as a Global Marketing Manager/Associate Director from August 2005 to June 2012, leading new product commercial strategy development.

Saurabh's earlier experiences include a Brand Management Intern role at Abbott Nutrition in 2004, Manager of Business Development at CSCI in Raleigh, NC from 1998 to 2003, and a Manager role at Tata Steel from 1996 to 1997.

Saurabh Johri pursued their education at Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology from 1991 to 1995, where they completed their BTech in Engineering. Afterward, they enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained their MBA with a focus on Marketing and Strategy.
