Mike Gerrow

Mike Gerrow has extensive work experience in finance and operations. Mike is currently the Vice President of Finance at Catena Media, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) at Catena Media from 2020 to 2023.

Before joining Catena Media, Gerrow served as the Finance Director & Partner at Hangar Agency from 2017 to 2020. In this role, they were responsible for finance and operations, leading teams and client projects in financial technology, payments, and e-commerce.

Earlier in their career, Gerrow worked as a Consultant and Accountant & Controller at Medusa Medical Technologies from 2009 to 2016. In these positions, they focused on financial analysis, market expansion, and managing government and private contracts.

Gerrow also has experience as a Financial Services Assistant at Dalhousie University from 2008 to 2009.

Overall, Gerrow has demonstrated expertise in financial management, project analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning in various industries.

Mike Gerrow has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting from Dalhousie University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2010. Mike also has a CPA, CGA certification from the Certified General Accountants Association of Nova Scotia, which they earned from 2012 to 2014. In addition, Mike has completed various professional courses and certifications, including CPA certification from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada), an overview of UK Tax and Law course from CPA Canada, a Malta ACCA Tax Variant course from AIM Malta, and an exchange program at the University of Malta in 2008. Mike is currently pursuing an ACCA degree, which they started in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2021.
