Jenna LIVES for food. A fearless eater from the very beginning with a mother who always encouraged adventure in food and cooking, her introduction to the professional kitchen came through an opportunity to spend the day in the kitchen of Carlos in Highwood at age 10. After studying physics at McGill University in Montreal she realized a career in science wasn’t the right path and moved back to her hometown of Chicago, where, following a stint in culinary school, worked her way through the kitchens of Green Zebra, Taxim, and Girl and the Goat. A thirst for knowledge, and just thirst in general, lead to 6 years in the wine industry during which she oversaw the eCommerce division of a major wine retailer. Jenna is thrilled to join the Catering By Michaels team as Culinary Analyst.
