Alexander Kay is an experienced engineer currently serving as a Senior Engineer in Electrification Field Follow at Caterpillar Inc. since August 2021. In this role, Alexander supports new product introduction activities related to the company’s electrified and alternative powertrain products, requiring in-depth product knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Prior to this, Alexander held various engineering positions at JCB, including responsibilities in electrification, validation, and product support for various machinery, and completed a general engineering graduate scheme. Other experiences include roles in technical support, design engineering, and construction labor, as well as a sabbatical for English language education at Beijing University of Agriculture. Alexander earned a degree in Automotive Engineering from Harper Adams University and participated in a foreign exchange program in Mechanical Engineering.
