Allen Huang

Allen Huang is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong focus on electric vehicles and charging infrastructure. Currently employed at Caterpillar Inc. since September 2025, Huang develops requirements for Battery Electric Machines (BEM) DC fast charging products. Previous positions include roles at Puget Sound Energy, where Huang optimized electrical distribution, and Gold Electronics, contributing to an award-winning modular battery management system. Huang's expertise extends to designing EV charging stations at Nidec Industrial Solutions and validating charging systems at the American Center for Mobility. With a solid educational background, including degrees from Washington State University Vancouver, The University of Texas at Austin, Zhejiang University, and Southeast University, Huang has a comprehensive understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles.
