Faran Malik

Faran Malik is a Senior Data Scientist at Caterpillar Inc. since February 2021, specializing in developing digital platforms for machine learning-based financial forecasting and scenario planning. Previously, Faran served as a Software Project Engineer at EMD (Electro-Motive Diesel), focusing on IoT gateways for large-scale data collection and analytics. Faran's earlier experience includes various roles at John Deere, including Embedded Software Systems Engineer, where responsibilities involved leading AUTOSAR software framework implementation, and roles centered on software architecture and verification for drivetrain systems. Faran holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from Iowa State University.
