Janet Hermosillo Espin

Janet Hermosillo Espin currently serves as a Senior Talent Management Partner at Caterpillar Inc. since July 2023. Previously, during their tenure at IBM from March 2018 to June 2023, Janet held the position of Principal Talent Acquisition Partner, focusing on strategizing solutions to enhance the hiring experience for managers and leaders, while also serving as a Diversity & Inclusion Leader for the Veterans Community, advocating for veterans through mentorship and career advancement initiatives. Janet’s early career includes roles such as ACES Career Services Assistant and Graduate Coordinator at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Diversity Engagement Specialist at IBM, and Human Resources Program Coordinator at Ferrara Candy Company. Janet holds a Master's degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
