Jesus Chapa Cabrera, PhD, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement and engineering, currently serving as Manager of Procurement Solutions at Caterpillar Inc. since January 2002. With a robust background in strategic procurement, category management, and quality assurance, Jesus has held various roles including Procurement Manager and Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Prior experience includes key positions in materials technology, manufacturing engineering, and research and development across multiple divisions at Caterpillar. Jesus holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
