Michael Darr

Michael Darr currently serves as the VP & Group CIO for the Construction Industries division at Caterpillar Inc., a role assumed in January 2024, aimed at providing innovative solutions to enhance customer capabilities. Prior to this position, Michael was the North American Automotive & Industrial Equipment Practice Lead at Capgemini Invent from October 2019 to January 2024, where Michael established a consulting practice focused on digital transformation and customer experience. Michael also held the role of Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Technology at Gulf States Toyota, leading enterprise transformation and technology optimization initiatives from June 2018 to July 2019. Earlier career experiences include positions at Interstate Batteries, Dealertrack, and a foundational education in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University, supplemented by a certification from Stagen Leadership Academy in Integral Leadership.
