Owen Reynolds

Owen Reynolds is a skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in battery engineering and vehicle dynamics. As the Battery Cooling System Lead at Purdue Electric Racing, Owen successfully overhauled the battery cooling system for the 2023 competition vehicle, achieving a maximum error of 7% between simulation and physical results. At Tesla, Owen contributed as a Battery Engineering Intern, focusing on next-generation battery systems and compliant injection molded plastics. Additional experience includes roles at Purdue Electric Racing as a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer and Team Leader, a Research Intern at the University of Karlsruhe, and internships at AAM and Precision Castparts.
