Patricia Herrera

Patricia Herrera currently serves as the Director of Executive Compensation at Caterpillar Inc., responsible for developing materials for the Compensation HR Committee and managing executive incentive plans since January 2024. Previously, Herrera held various leadership roles at American Airlines from August 2005 to 2023, including Managing Director of Compensation Initiatives, Absence Management and Workers’ Compensation, and Head of Global Compensation, where significant contributions included managing compensation for over 20,000 employees and overseeing high-profile projects related to absence management and regulatory compliance. Earlier career experience includes positions at NextJet, Riverton Corp., and Accenture, complemented by an MBA from Texas McCombs School of Business and a BA in Public Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
