Srinath Subramanian

Srinath Subramanian is a professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering, currently serving as an Engineer in Performance, Simulation, and Application at Caterpillar Inc. since February 2024. Srinath focuses on investigating the application of low-carbon alternative fuels for the off-road sector through experimental combustion research. Prior to this role, Srinath worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from May 2019 to January 2024 within the Engine Research Center, under the guidance of Professor David A. Additionally, Srinath gained experience as an Engineering Intern at NTPC Limited in 2017, specializing in power plant engineering and management. Srinath completed a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in January 2024, following a Master’s Degree in the same field obtained from the same institution in 2019.
