Serena is a Senior Communications Manager based out of the Shanghai office.
In her role, she is responsible for media relations and marketing in China. Before joining Cathay, Serena worked at Ogilvy Public Relations, providing corporate and financial communications counsel to companies including UBS, CFA Institute, IDG Capital and more. Prior to that, she worked at the Xinhua News Agency Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau as a business and finance journalist, covering free trade zone across the pan-Asia region. She has also held roles as a Marketing Manager at A-Design London office, helping to expand brand influence in the European market, as well as a trainee at The New York Times Beijing office, responsible for tech and business news.
Serena holds a Master of Arts degree in International journalism from Hong Kong Baptist University.
