Deacon Martin Gutierrez

Vice President Mission & Comm. Engagement at CATHOLIC CHARITIES ARCHDIOCESE OF NEW ORLEANS

Deacon Martin Gutierrez has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Deacon Martin began their career in banking, where they worked for 13 years as a Banking Officer and Branch Manager. In 1997, they transitioned to the Hispanic Apostolate Community Services/Catholic Charities as a Director. After 11 years, they joined the Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, where they served as the Director and Vice President for six years. Deacon Martin then became the Division Director before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President for Mission & Community Engagement at Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans.

Deacon Martin Gutierrez obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of New Orleans between 1983 and 1991. Prior to attending university, they completed their high school education at Chalmette High School from 1980 to 1983. No information is available about their education before high school.
