David Rood-Ojalvo

David Rood-Ojalvo has a diverse range of work experience. David has worked for Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens in various roles such as Director of Care Coordination, Clinical Director, Program Manager, and Team Leader for Project Hope. David served as Co-Chair for the Far Rockaway Non Profit Coalition. At the University of Pennsylvania, they worked as a Research Assistant, investigating the impact of environment on adolescent success. David also worked as a Multidimensional Family Therapist for Community Mediation Services. David began their career as a National Sales Director for Ozone Design.

David Rood-Ojalvo obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Wesleyan University from 2001 to 2006. David then pursued a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Counseling and Mental Health at the University of Pennsylvania from 2010 to 2011. Prior to their university studies, they attended Haddonfield Memorial High School from 1997 to 2001.
