Samira Alieva

Samira Alieva currently serves as the Vice President of Senior Services at Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens, a position held since March 2009, where responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, and management of diverse programs. Previously, Samira held roles such as Project Director of Older Adult Services and Deputy Vice President of Behavioral Health Services, overseeing program operations, health home services, and compliance with regulations. Before joining Catholic Charities, Samira worked as a Counselor at Hospice of New York and served as a TB physician and District TB Consultant in Azerbaijan. Academic credentials include a Master's in Social Work Administration from Hunter College, a Master of Public Health from New York Medical College, and a Doctor of Medicine from Azerbaijan State Medical University.
