Melissa Boege has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. From 2013 to the present, they have been associated with Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton. Melissa'sroles within the organization include Program Director for the Monmouth Counseling & Family Growth Program, Program Supervisor for the Family Growth Program in Monmouth & Ocean, Clinician II for the Family Growth Program in Monmouth & Ocean, and Clinical Intern for the Family Growth Program in Monmouth & Ocean.

In 2018, Melissa also worked as a Psychology Teacher at Saint John Vianney HS. Additionally, they served as an Adjunct Professor for the Department of Psychology & Human Services at Brookdale Community College starting from 2014. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Graduate Assistant at Monmouth University, working in the Office of Service Learning & Community Programs from 2011 to 2014. In 2012, they interned at CPC Behavioral Healthcare as part of the Circle of Friends Partial Care Program.

Melissa Boege has a strong educational background in the field of psychology and mental health counseling. Melissa obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social & Behavioral Science, from Seton Hall University in 2011, where they also participated in the University Honors Program. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University, completing their studies in 2014. Melissa further expanded their knowledge and expertise by obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Psychology from Rosemont College between 2017 and 2019.

In addition to their academic achievements, Melissa Boege has also attained several certifications. Melissa became a Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist in January 2016. Furthermore, Melissa is a Licensed Professional Counselor, certified by the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs. Melissa also holds the title of National Certified Counselor, awarded by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).
