Becky Burnside has over 16 years of experience in managing employment and benefits programs for refugees, currently serving as the Employment and Benefits Program Manager at Catholic Charities of Louisville, Inc. since October 2007. In this role, Becky oversees all employment and cash assistance programs for participants from the refugee program. Previously, Becky held positions including Employment Services Manager, where responsibilities included supervising a team providing job placement services to eligible refugee clients, and Employment Specialist, focusing on job placement for refugee clients. Earlier in their career, Becky worked as a Day Care Worker, instructing school-age refugee children. Prior experience includes serving as a Case Manager and Green Card Coordinator at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota from August 2006 to October 2007. Becky earned a Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs from Xavier University in 2006.

We collaborate and advocate for necessary changes in social policy. We call the local Catholic Church and others of goodwill to engage in acts of mercy and justice. We support and resource our 110 parishes to expand this work across the Archdiocese of Louisville.
