Mohammad Zia Hassani

Mohammad Zia Hassani is an experienced professional currently serving as the Refugee Benefits Manager at Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas since November 2023, and as the Refugee Lead Case Manager at Catholic Charities of Southwest Kansas since December 2021. In these roles, Mohammad Zia coordinates services that help refugee clients secure housing and employment, while also managing cash, medical, and employment assistance programs aimed at achieving self-sufficiency for newly arrived refugees. Previous positions include Refugee Resettlement Manager, Administrative Clerk at DynCorp International and the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, and Social Organizer at the Afghan Youths Development Office.
