Rasha Issa

Rasha Issa is an experienced professional in educational program management and cultural integration, currently serving as the Assistant Program Director and Education Programs Supervisor at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston since March 2018. Rasha oversees various programs aimed at supporting refugee students and their families, including intervention and after-school programs, as well as health promotion initiatives for Afghan women and cultural orientations for newly arrived families. Prior to this role, Rasha held positions as an Arabic language instructor at the Arab American Culture Center and as Program Coordinator at PAIR Houston. Rasha also worked as a freelance translator and Arabic-English teacher from January 2010 to March 2018. Rasha holds a degree from Damascus University.
