Miguel Saavedra

Miguel Saavedra, MSW, RCSWI, currently serves as a Clinical Counselor at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami, Inc., focusing on the Unaccompanied Minor Program. Responsibilities include providing clinical services and facilitating timely introductions of clinicians to minors. Previously, Miguel held the position of Reunification Case Manager, coordinating essential case management services for Unaccompanied Immigrant Children, ensuring effective communication between children and their families. Earlier experience includes a role as a Therapist Intern at Citrus Health Network, where therapy sessions were facilitated for clients in crisis, and an Intake Specialist position at INFINITE COMPLETE CARE, where biopsychosocial assessments were conducted. Additionally, Miguel has experience as a Case Manager at Caliburn International, assisting unaccompanied minors with various needs. Education includes a Master of Social Work from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the same institution, complemented by an Associate of Arts in Pre-Dentistry Studies from Miami Dade College.
