Luciana C. Musto M.f.a.

Luciana C. Musto, M.F.A. has a diverse work experience in various roles related to development, advancement, and fundraising. Luciana C. started their career in 2004 as a Prospect Researcher and Grants Administrator at Luzerne County Community College. Luciana C. then worked as a Development Writer at Marywood University from 2011 to 2014, where they managed grants and reported on multiple requests. Following that, they worked as an Assistant Director of Development at Misericordia University, where they coordinated marketing efforts and analyzed program results. From 2015 to 2016, they served as the Director of Advancement at NativityMiguel School of Scranton, where they developed policies, coordinated marketing efforts, and successfully raised funds through cold contacts. From 2016 to 2021, they held the role of Director of Prospect Management and Advancement Operations at Wilkes University, where they played a significant role in a capital campaign and acquired a substantial investment. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Director of Development at the Diocese of Scranton, where they revised marketing plans and met fundraising goals. Presently, they hold the position of Director of Stewardship and Engagement at Catholic Leadership Institute, which started in 2023.

Luciana C. Musto, M.F.A. has an extensive education history. Luciana C. acquired a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing from Wilkes University in the year 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Creative Writing from the same institution between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, Luciana holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from King's College, earned between 2000 and 2002. To build their educational foundation, they began their academic journey at Luzerne County Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Sciences (A.S.) degree in Social Sciences from 1997 to 2000.

In recent years, Luciana has also obtained additional certifications to further enhance their skillset. In July 2021, they became EverTrue Donor Experience Certified through the EverTrue Donor Experience Certification program. Similarly, in May 2021, they completed the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate program offered by USF Corporate Training and Professional Education. These certifications showcase their dedication to continuing education and staying updated on industry best practices in donor experience and workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion.
