Darren Posey

Darren Posey has extensive experience in international development and program management, primarily with Catholic Relief Services since 2005. Positions include Deputy Country Representative for Ethiopia, Country Representative for Togo, Burundi, and Rwanda, and Chief of Party for the STaR Project across Nigeria, Niger, and Chad. Key responsibilities encompass overall program management in critical sectors like Education, Nutrition, Food Security, and Emergency Response, as well as leading strategic planning and budgeting processes. Earlier roles include Deputy Regional Director for Program Quality in Central Africa, Head of Programs in Nigeria, and International Development Fellow, supported by a foundation in environmental policy and history from UC San Diego and James Madison University. Additional experience includes paralegal work and volunteering with the Peace Corps.
