Lauren Merrill

Lauren Merrill (Benzing) has over 16 years of experience in nonprofit management, currently serving as the Associate Director of Acquisition & Innovation for Annual Giving at Catholic Relief Services since March 2007. In this role, Lauren directs the development of strategies, creative content, and messaging for donor engagement through various channels. Previous positions at Catholic Relief Services include Manager of New Market Channels, Online Community Specialist, Campaign Specialist, and Donor Services Associate. Prior to this, Lauren worked at Solo Cup Company as an International Customer Service Representative. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Notre Dame of Maryland University and a Bachelor's degree in Business and Spanish from the University of Mary Washington, along with a summer study abroad in Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Deusto.
