Director Of Diversity, Equity And Inclusion at Catholic Relief Services

Wendy-Ann Rowe has extensive experience in program management and development within international organizations. Wendy-Ann began their career at World Relief in 2000 as a Program Assistant, providing support to MED HQ staff and assisting with reporting requirements. Wendy-Ann then moved on to become a Client Coordinator, coordinating global training events and providing technical support to microfinance partners. In 2004, they became a Microfinance Technical Advisor, facilitating proposal submissions and providing ongoing technical support to microfinance institutions in various regions.

Wendy-Ann joined Catholic Relief Services in 2006 as a Knowledge Management Technical Advisor, supporting successful proposals and developing a learning and knowledge sharing strategy. Wendy-Ann later became the Head of Programs in Lesotho, supervising programming teams and leading proposal development efforts to secure funding. In 2015, they moved to Zambia as the Head of Programs, overseeing a diverse team and successfully leading strategic business development efforts. Currently, Wendy-Ann is the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Catholic Relief Services. Their work includes ensuring program quality, compliance, and financial accountability, as well as securing funding for CRS and its partners.

Wendy-Ann Rowe completed their MA in Intercultural Studies with a focus on International Business from Biola University in 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc in Management Studies from The University of the West Indies, Mona between 1991 and 1994. Additionally, Wendy-Ann has obtained several certifications related to Diversity and Inclusion from eCornell in 2022.
