Yasmeen Faraj is an experienced professional in digital transformation and health management, currently serving as the Regional ICT4D Technical Advisor II for Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia at Catholic Relief Services since April 2024. Previously, Yasmeen worked as a Digital Transformation Consultant for the International Medical Corps and for The World Bank, focusing on digital transformation initiatives within the health sector in Lebanon. As the Global Digital Transformation Manager at Plan International, Yasmeen led strategic digital projects, and as a Data Management and Digital Transformation Technical Officer at the Norwegian Refugee Council, Yasmeen managed data-related projects. Yasmeen's early career includes roles as a public health expert researcher and a clinical applications analyst at AUBMC, along with leadership in the Biomedical Engineering Department at Al Iman Hospital. Yasmeen holds a Master of Public Health from the American University of Beirut and a Bachelor's Degree in Computers and Communication Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from the American University of Science and Technology.
