Trenita Womack has a diverse background in both social services and music. Currently serving as a facilitator at Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County since October 2003, Trenita runs groups focused on men convicted of domestic violence. Between January 1977 and December 1979, Trenita contributed to the music industry as a percussionist, singer, songwriter, and producer with Brainstorm, The Funk Brothers, featuring in recordings and live performances. Additionally, Trenita performed with the Lyman Woodard Band from January 1969 to December 1971. Educationally, Trenita attended Chadsey High School and Wayne State University from 1967 to 1971.
