Maureen Murphy

Associate Vice President, Family And Parish Support Services at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago

Maureen Murphy has over 30 years of experience in the field of social services. Maureen started their career at Highland Park Hospital where they worked as a Manager of Social Services for five years. Maureen then became the Parent Infant Program Coordinator for three years. In 1994, they joined Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago as the Program Director for Lake County Community Casework. Maureen later took on the role of Department Director in the same department, and in 1999, they were promoted to Associate Vice President of Family and Parish Support Services.

Maureen Murphy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Knox College. Maureen also obtained a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, they have certifications in Non-Profit Management, including an Advanced Certificate from DePaul University in 2000 and a Certificate from DePaul University in 1999. Maureen also has a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
