Gary Havican

Gary Havican currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Catholic Health, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this role, Gary was the President of the Central Region at Hartford HealthCare from September 2016 to February 2024, where duties included overseeing operations for The Hospital of Central CT and MidState Medical Center. Earlier career experiences include various leadership roles at Middlesex Hospital, University of Connecticut Health Center, Hartford Hospital, and Waterbury Hospital, focusing on operations, strategic planning, and cancer services. Gary holds a Doctor of Health Sciences degree from the University of New Haven and an MBA in Executive Management, also from the University of New Haven, as well as a BA in History from Western Connecticut State University.
