Heidy Taza

Heidy Taza is a Histology Technologist currently employed at Catholic Health since July 2023, where responsibilities include preparing pathology and autopsy tissues for examination and assisting the Pathologist in specimen examination. Concurrently, Heidy serves as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist at Stony Brook Medicine since January 2021, focusing on specimen preparation and laboratory procedures for disease diagnosis and treatment while contributing to the development of departmental procedure manuals. Previous roles include Surgical Coordinator and Executive Assistant at Northwell Health, where administrative support and coordination of surgical operations were key functions. Heidy holds a Master's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Mount Saint Mary College.
