John Scanlan

John Scanlan is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the healthcare industry, currently serving as the Director of Reimbursement at Catholic Health since February 2024. Previously, John has worked as an Independent Consultant for John Scanlan Healthcare Finance Consulting since October 2020, and held an interim position as Vice President of Finance/Controller at Richmond University Medical Center in 2021. From May 1999 to October 2020, John served in various senior financial roles at Maimonides Medical Center, ultimately as Senior Vice President of Finance, overseeing areas including budgeting, reimbursement, financial planning, and managed care contracting. John began the professional journey at Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn & Queens, Inc. as Manager of Reimbursement from January 1985 to January 1997. Academically, John holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from St. John's University and an MBA in Health Care Administration from Adelphi University.
