Joseph also served as the Director of PAANS Financial Operations from June 2010 to September 2013, overseeing the development of business strategies for ambulatory capital projects.
Before their tenure at the North Shore-LIJ Health System, O'Doherty worked at the Hospital for Special Surgery as the Assistant Director of Physician Services. In this role, they managed the financial operations and budgets for various specialty practices. Joseph held this position from February 2005 to June 2010.
Prior to that, O'Doherty worked as a Senior Business Analyst at North Shore LIJ Health System from June 2004 to February 2005, overseeing system improvements and analyzing the billing department.
Joseph'scareer in healthcare started at Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers as the Corporate CDM and Coding Coordinator. In this role from September 2001 to June 2004, they tracked productivity and implemented system improvements for the Chief Medical Office.
