Kate Malenczak has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kate is currently the Director of Communications and Public Relations at Catholic Health since February 2023. Before their positions in the healthcare sector, Kate gained experience in agency work. From June 2015 to February 2017, they were a Senior Account Executive at Edelman, where they led and supported consumer and healthcare professional-focused campaigns for pharmaceutical clients. Prior to that, they worked as an Account Executive at Ketchum Healthcare from September 2013 to May 2015, where they contributed to the development and execution of pharmaceutical programs.
Kate's earlier professional experience includes roles such as an Account Executive at Havas PR US from January 2012 to September 2013, where they worked on the Sanofi diabetes portfolio and Zoetis accounts. As an intern, they explored the radio aspect of the broadcast industry in August 2011 at ESPN Radio and worked as an intern under the personal manager and production manager for Supertramp, an English rock band, at Power Steering Inc. from May 2010 to August 2010. Finally, Kate gained early work experience at General Home Store, where they served as a Style Merchant, Cashier, and Floor Salesperson from 2005 to 2010.
Kate Malenczak attended Sayville High School from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a diploma. Kate then went on to study Communications Journalism, Marketing, and Graphic Design at Roger Williams University from 2007 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree.
