Katy Zhang has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Katy has worked at various organizations, starting with Boston Children's Hospital as a Research Coordinator from June 2003 to May 2005. Katy then joined Columbia University Medical Center as a Project Manager II from June 2005 to June 2009. Katy later worked at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as an EHR Implementation Lead from June 2009 to March 2011. Katy then joined the State University of New York College of Optometry as a Clinical Systems Management professional from March 2011 to March 2013. Currently, Katy holds the position of Director, Digital & Technology Solutions at Catholic Health since March 2023. Prior to this role, they were a Senior Project Management professional at Catholic Health from March 2020 to March 2023. During their tenure, they also served as an Epic Ambulatory Project Management professional at the same organization from March 2013 to March 2020.
Katy Zhang pursued their education by first earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Management and Policy from the University of New Hampshire between 1999 and 2003. Later, from 2005 to 2008, they attended the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and obtained a Master's degree in Public Health.
