Nanci Zichittella

Nanci Zichittella serves as the Inpatient Hospice Manager at Catholic Health since January 2022, following a robust career in nursing and hospital administration. From July 2008 to February 2022, Nanci held the position of Assistant Director of Nursing at Stony Brook University Medical Center, supervising a 600+ bed tertiary-care hospital. Nanci's diverse experience includes serving as a Bed Utilization Coordinator, overseeing patient throughput and hospital operations, and working as a Nursing Admin Supervisor at Southampton Hospital on a per-diem basis. Nanci began her nursing career as a Registered Nurse at Stony Brook University Hospital, providing comprehensive care to acutely ill patients. Additionally, Nanci worked as a Substitute School Nurse for Rocky Point Union Free School District. Nanci holds a Master of Science in Adult Health Nurse Practitioner and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, both from Stony Brook University.
