Randy Blum is a seasoned executive in managed care with extensive experience in network management and healthcare economics. Currently serving as Vice President of Managed Care at Catholic Health since July 2022, Randy previously held the position of Vice President of Delivery System Engagement at Healthfirst from November 2017 to July 2022, where responsibilities included oversight of network development and strategic direction. Prior to that, Randy was Vice President of Network Management for the New York Market at UnitedHealth Group from February 2003 to November 2017, focusing on developing a competitive provider network and managing healthcare economics for a substantial annual spend. Earlier in Randy's career, roles included Director of Actuarial Services at Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield and Assistant Merchandiser at Brooks Brothers. Randy holds a BA/BS degree in Math/Economics from Binghamton University.
