Nick Zosel-Johnson

Nick Zosel-Johnson is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Head of Beginning and Lower School at Catlin Gabel School since July 2023. Prior to this role, Nick held the position of Lower School Admissions Director at Annie Wright Schools from August 2021 to July 2023. Nick's extensive background includes serving as the Lower School Director and Assistant Director at Charles Wright Academy, where responsibilities encompassed program oversight for preschool to grade 5, faculty development, and community building. Earlier experience includes teaching fourth grade and holding a teaching role within Chicago Public Schools as part of the Teach For America program. Nick earned a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Columbia University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Dominican University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Claremont McKenna College.
