Mark Zimmerman

Mark Zimmerman, PMP, is an accomplished senior project manager with extensive experience in construction and military operations. Currently serving at Caton Construction Group since August 2023, Mark previously held similar positions at Triton Construction Inc. and Clearwater Construction, where significant projects included overseeing bridge constructions for VDOT valued at $6 million. Mark's career includes leadership roles at Breeden Construction and lengthy service in the U.S. Army, where roles ranged from Senior Operations Officer to Company Commander, managing substantial projects and logistics, including a $450,000 emergency access road and the largest construction project in Eastern Afghanistan. Mark holds a Master's degree in Public Policy Administration from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a dual major in German from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, complementing military education from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
